Patients can now log onto West4 Gps to make appointments
West 4 GPS have announced that their website has been restored to full working order, following the 'hacking' incident earlier this week. Patients at the Practice in Fisher's Lane had been unable to access online appointments from Tuesday to Thursday afternoon. A flashing screen, saying 'Spanish hackers' appeared when patients tried to log on to make appointments. The practice sent text messages to patients advising them not to log on. On Thursday afternoon, patients were informed by text that the problem had been resolved. "We are pleased to inform you that the Practice website www.west4Gps.co.uk has been restored to full functionality and is back online. We apologise for any inconvenience that was caused by the issue," It is understood that private information on patients was not put at risk by the hacking.
