Local 'Fairy Dogmother' Gets Married

Big turnout of pets and their owners to congratulate happy couple at St Nick's

Many dog-owning Chiswick residents know Ellie Percival as the Fairy Dog Mother. She runs a professional dog carer service and is very popular with dogs and their owners alike. And they turned out in force with their pooches when Ellie wed Kevin Hart at St Nicholas Church on Chiswick Mall last week.

Many dogs came along in fancy dress, and Father Andrew even allowed all the dogs (accompanied by their owners!) inside the church for the service. As the newly-weds emerged they lined up as Ellie walked down the guard of honour greeting each dog by name. Julie Ritson captured the occasion, including a surprise visitor who is also a dog-lover.

Local resident Ant McPartlin , one half of the TV duo Ant and Dec, came along with a plate of doggy themed canapes.
