Two
Colour Theatre Company's American Playwright
Spring Season concludes with Lee Blessing's
"Two Rooms". This will be the playwright's
third outing for Two Colour Theatre Company
following last years critically acclaimed productions
of "A Walk in the Woods" and "Independence".
This
provocative work deals with the forced separation
of a couple during the Beirut crisis. An imprisoned
Michael shares his fears and memories with
his distant wife, Lainie, who in turn has stripped
a room in their home in order to empathise
with him. Impotent in their ability to communicate,
the two rooms become one where they can keep
their love alive. "An extraordinary play
that offers real hope in a world where violence
is seemingly the only answer. Simply one of
the most beautiful plays written about humanity."
Two
Colour Theatre Company, The Tabard Theatre's
resident company continues to establish its
reputation as one of London's finest producing
companies. With eleven productions to date
"Two Romms concludes the Spring season
entitled "Come Rain or Shine". The
new season for the autumn will be announced
later in the year.
