'Tales from Star City' is a new play based on real events and untold stories from the brightest and darkest moments of the space race.

Set in Closed Military Townlet No. 1 in the Soviet Union in 1967, communications specialist Polina Semyenova looks back on her dreams of being part of the great Communist movement. The play follows her personal and ideological heartbreak during one of the most dramatic decades of the Cold War.

The upcoming production from Idle Discource the company that brought of The Chainsaw Manicure will run at The Tabard Theatre from February 20 to March 10. The one hour performances begin at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £14 or £10 for concessions and can be bought online.
