Join Viking Prince Sigurd on his adventures
With talking birds, terrible giants, Viking gods, magic swords and a very dangerous dragon, Sigurd the Dragon Slayer is an adventure for the whole family and plays a limited run at the Tabard Theatre. Presented by Klevamunki and created by Peter Machen there will be three matinee performances of the show. Klevamunki is a local based company headed by Peter Machen, who has over twenty years experience of developing and performing shows for all ages. Using many performance techniques such as dance, mask and puppetry Peter has produced an eclectic mix of shows, which have performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and all around the UK. Sigurd is too young to go off adventuring, or so his mum says, but when he meets the master blacksmith Regin his dreams come true. Tricked into a quest for a mountain of treasure by Regin, Sigurd will face many dangers, but he's too excited to be frightened. The shows take place at Sunday at 2pm from 18th October to 1st November. The running time is approximately 55 minutes Tickets £12/£10. Children £6. Book now.
