There is to be another concert at St. Nicholas Church in Chiswick featuring the Natrio Trumpet Trio.

Will Thomas, Joe Skypala and Nick Budd performed at the venue earlier this year and will be returning on Sunday 19 November at 3pm.

The programme will include music by J.S. Bach, Nicole Piunno, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Harold Arlen.

Formed in 2022, London-based Natrio are performing as part of the Charlotte Fraser Foundation Concert Series.

Specialising in the performance of both modern and natural trumpets, the ensemble was created to showcase the uniquely varied and dynamic repertoire for trumpet trio and was awarded First Prize in the 2022 Musicians’ Company Brass Ensemble Prize for their
diverse programme of Donninger, Britten and Gubaidulina. Since then, they have performed a number of recitals at venues such as St John’s Smith Square, Regent Hall, and look forward to future concerts at the Market Drayton Music Festival, Swaledale Festival and the Musician’s Company Baroque Festival at St Lawrence’s, North London as part of their 2024 season.

Though relatively little-known, chamber music for three trumpets spans a wealth of musical styles and genres. From the ceremonial fanfares of the 17th Century to the experimental works of the 21st Century.

Tickets cost £10 or £5 students and will be available on the door with cash or card payments accepted. For additional £5 you can stay afterwards for tea and cake.

All profits to support emerging local young musicians at St Nicholas Church.
