A Conversational Evensong with well-known composer John
Rutter will be held on Sunday 10 September at 6.00pm at St Nicholas Church,

He has guest conducted or lectured around the world, in 1980 he was made honorary Fellow of Westminster Choir College, Princetown, and in 1988 a Fellow of the Guild of Church Musicians. In 1996 the Archbishop of Canterbury conferred a Lambeth Doctorate of Music upon him in recognition of his contribution to church music. An evening of relaxed conversation and worship and music and a chance to find out a little more about John Rutter, what inspires and motivates him. Canapes will be offered after the service.
