Lecture On Thomas Coram

Lars Tharp on the Foundling Hospital

On Thursday 21 June at 7.30 pm, in St Nicholas Church, Church Street, W4, Lars Tharp (Hogarth Curator at the Foundling Museum, and TV personality) will give a lecture entitled 'The Captain, the Duchess and the Foundlings'.

The Captain is Thomas Coram, founder of the Foundling Hospital, and the Duchess is Charlotte, Duchess of Somerset, one of the early benefactors of the Hospital, who was buried in St Nicholas, Chiswick.

Admission is £ 5.00; refreshments will be available from 7.00 pm. Admission £5 (free to Friends of St. Nicholas). This event is sponsored by Sothebys and Sarasin & Partners.
