St Michael's Players present their autumn production
St Michael's Players present their autumn production of "Improbable Fiction" by Alan Ayckbourn. Running from Thursday 15 October through until Saturday 17 October, Ayckbourn's hilarious comedy features one of his most daring ideas yet. Six aspiring yet, truthfully, hopeless authors meet to discuss their work. Among them are writers of historical romances and children’s literature who are finding it difficult to start writing, and a crime writer who can’t stop. A creator of extremely complicated science fiction, a librettist without a musical partner and the chairman, who can only produce tedious instruction booklets, make up the rest of the team. This ill assorted bunch find themselves at a loss as to how to proceed until mysteriously they find themselves entering the worlds of their own creation. Having enjoyed directing "The Reading Group", Bryony Wilman returns to continue her directing career with this ambitious show. Tickets can be booked through the website www.StMichaelsPlayers.org.uk.
