As part of  Christian Aid week on 6 May St Michael and All Angels Church will be exhibiting manuscripts and works of art from the Syriac Culture as seen in the book ‘Pearls from Heaven' by a local author Elias Assad. 

There will also be an exhibition of drawings by Syrian school children, ‘Impressions of War', loaned from Aid to the Church in Need www.acnuk.org (the Charity SMAAA is supporting during Lent). The exhibitions will be open to the public at 2pm.

From 3-5pm there will be talks and Q&A with an opportunity to learn about the ancient history of the local Syriac Church and Culture right up to the present day.

Everyone Welcome. Fairtrade tea and coffee will be served. There will be a retiring collection in aid of Christian Aid Week.
