Local resident and mother Nadine Rose buys and sells ethically produced accessories and textiles and uses the profits to support orphans in Ethiopia with their university fees or school expenses.

From the 17th to the 24th May, the Chest of Drawers at 138 Chiswick High Road is hosting an exhibition of many of the beautiful goods.

The items have all been chosen to complement the range of fair trade goods that are already on sale such as hand woven children's toy baskets from Madagascar, organic bedding and towels from India and a range of environmentally certified furniture.

The partnership between Kim Corbett from the store and Nadine is based on the desire to create a philanthropic business model based on selling ethically produced goods from around the world.

They want to ensure that the sellers receive a fair price for the products and to donate a percentage of their profits to help lift others out of poverty.
