This familiar tale is given a new laugh-out-loud telling that is perfect for the festive season. With plenty of sing-along songs, booing and hissing, cheering and clapping in this exhilarating ride through Jack’s adventures.

Jack and the Beanstalk at the Paul Robeson Theatre is a community pantomime, with professional actors and 24 local children taking part, fantastic costumes and sets and superb special effects.

THE STORY...

Jack sells his beloved cow Daisy for a handful of beans. Once planted, the beanstalk takes him way up into the clouds to the Giant’s kingdom where he find the goose that lays the golden egg, rescues Jill and chops down the beanstalk to escape the Giant.

There’s a terrific Giant, lavish costumes, sing-a-long songs, comedy, drama and dancing in this exciting tale for all the family – and it all ends in a pitched battle between the baddies and the audience.
