There is Going to Be a Bit of a Kerfuffle on Turnham Green

Community sports day taking place in aid of children's charity

You are invited with family and friends to take part in a community sports event on Turnham Green this Saturday (3 September).

The Kerfuffle of Turnham Green is a fun community sports day and charity fund raiser in support of Shooting Star Chase Children’s Hospice Care organised by the Old Pack Horse pub in association with Fit for Sport.

Adults in teams of 4 or more will compete in a series of scheduled events to determine the winner of the event. Teams must provide a minimum entry donation of £10 per person but higher donations will be considered bribes and have a direct effect on the scoring system. The kids can be kept busy and healthy with activities hosted for free by Fit for Sport.

There will be a refreshments bar stocked with soft drinks and a few beers. All proceeds will go to Shooting Star Chase and sales will be cash only.

The event starts at 2pm in the South West Corner of Turnham Green where the Rhythm and Brews Café is situated. It is expected to last around two hours but organisers warn it may run a little over as it is their first time running the event.
