Love Books? Love Vinyl? Get your dancing shoes on to bring reading into local homes at Into The Groove 2017. On Saturday 10 June at The Union in Chiswick Business Park there will be an evening of non-stop hits from the 1970s to the 2000s.

All profits from this old school disco night go directly to the chosen charity bringing old school reading to local children: Doorstep Library.

Doorstep Library brings books and the magic of reading directly to the homes of children in some of London's most disadvantaged areas. Volunteers read with the children, lend them books, befriend the families and offer support. Poor reading skills are inextricably linked to economic disadvantage and reduced life possibilities. Our work improves not just reading skills, but confidence, self-esteem, articulacy, social integration, academic performance and even long-term employment prospects.

Tickets are £25 per person for over 18s only and can be bought online by making a donation. There are no physical tickets for this event which will be run from a guest list. You can buy as many tickets as you want - enter the names of the guests into the donation message or email names to lesleytulley@gmail.com. The event runs from 8pm to 1am and canapes will be served.
