On Saturday 4th July at 7.30pm the Hogarth Singers under their conductor David Bray will be giving a concert in the church of St Michael & All Angels, Bath Road.

The concert is on the theme "England, this England", with a programme of British music including Vaughan Williams' glorious Serenade to Music and a choral version of Sir Henry Wood's Fantasia on British Sea Songs.

Hogarth Singers is a small friendly choir, based normally at St Michael & All Angels, Bath Road, with rehearsals in the Arts Educational Schools. This is the choir’s 25th anniversary year. Over the years it has built an enthusiastic group of members and followers.
Under their Musical Director David Bray, the group sings a range of choral music, from Baroque to contemporary, and performs 4-5 concerts each year. The size of the choir, currently around 50, allows it great flexibility in choice of repertoire.

David Bray has directed the Singers since 2001. He studied composition, piano, organ and conducting at the Royal College of Music. Now Head of Publishing at music publishers Boosey & Hawkes, he also specialises in vocal coaching, and has a considerable reputation for choral training, working regularly with choirs and vocal soloists.

Tickets for concert will be available on the door at £10 (Concessions £7). For more information about the concert or the choir please visit www.hogarthsingers.org
