Hogarth Singers Summer Concert, Saturday 2 July at 6.30pm at St Michael and All Angels, Bath Road, Chiswick.

Hogarth Singers will be contributing to the 400th centenary celebrations of the life of William Shakespeare by performing a selection of songs inspired by Shakespeare’s plays, set to music by Ralph Vaughan Williams, William Matthias, George Shearing, and John Rutter.

The choir, directed by Music Director Rupert Gill and accompanied by Andrew Wells, will be joined by the choir of Southfield School, and noted early music specialist Catherine Groom will play music of the period and actor Will Birch will read well known sonnets and extracts.

The concert will be held at Hogarth Singers usual performance venue, St Michael and All Angels, Bath Road, Chiswick, W4 1TT, at 6.30pm - an earlier time than usual. Tickets are available from the choir’s website: www.hogarth-singers.org or on the door. Ticket price £12 (£9 concessions) in advance, or £15 (£12 concessions) on the door. Under 16s are free.
