Chiswick based band makes a come back for Funky Friday gig
Chiswick based band 'Root Juice' who used to play residencies at the Chiswick Eyot and the Barley Mow public houses almost 30 years ago are making a come back. On Friday March 12 they will play their first 'Funky Friday' gig at the George and Devonshire pub. Admission is free and we will start at 8.30 pm. The nucleus of the band remains the same apart from the new addition of Sophie Alloway a highly respected lady drummer who featured last year at the Glastonbury Festival as a member of the 'Roots Manuva' band.
