Khader Khader to speak at Chiswick Horticultural and Allotments Society meet

Khader Khader, an olive tree farmer and a board member of the Palestine Fair Trade Association, is giving a talk to Chiswick Horticultural and Allotments Society at 7.15pm on 26 February at their trading hut on Staveley Road during Fairtrade Fortnight.

He will talk about his experiences and how customers buying fair trade has enabled him to buy tools and materials for harvesting.

His olive oil is available from Zaytoun, a Community Interest Company that was set up in 2004. It’s a social enterprise founded to support Palestinian farmers through fair trade. 100% of their profits are reinvested into furthering this mission.
