Will reveal details about his work at Fulham Palace
November 15, 2023 The next talk in the series presented by Chiswick Pier Trust (CPT) will be given by Alexis Haslam, Fulham Palace’s community archaeologist who will be reporting on his work recording the history of this famous Thames-side site. It will be an opportunity to find out about our ancient ancestors downstream at Fulham; how the site may once have been an island; the objects discovered during digs and how Alexis finds, identifies, and dates artefacts to understand how people have interacted with the palace site since prehistoric times. It takes place at 7pm on Tuesday 28 November at The Pier House, Corney Reach Way (W4 2UG). Tickets cost £5 or are free for members. For information on Chiswick Pier Trust membership check the Chiswick Pier Trust's web site. The trust works to engage people with the River Thames. It provides access to the Thames and support major river events, as well as organising events of its own.
