Programme includes fireworks cruise and painting workshop
A wide range of activities organised by the Chiswick Pier Trust is being held this Autumn culminating in a cruise to see the Battersea Park fireworks this November. The programme also includes a collaboration with an artist who has been looking into the disappearance of Chiswick Eyot and a watercolour work shop. On Wednesday 2 November Julia Cassels returns to Chiswick Pier House for another of her workshops which have been very popular when held previously. The day runs from 9.30am to 4pm and Julia will be working with watercolours on the topic of elephants, having just returned from a trip to Zambia with an elephant Wildlife Rescue programme. The workshop is suitable for beginners right through to the more experienced artist. The fee for the day is £40. Call 020 8742 2713 or email trust@chiswickpier.org.uk to book a place. You will need to bring your own materials and a packed lunch. The trust is planning a cruise to see the Battersea Fireworks on Sunday 6 November with details to be released on its web site when they are available. If you are interested in attending, email the trust to be kept up to date. For further information on the Pier check the Chiswick Pier Trust's web site.
