Fun filled activities for all ages on the river

Chiswick Pier Trust's (CPT) Party on the Pier will take place on Sunday 16 July.

The first free boat trip sails from the Pier at 11.30am. “Princess Freda” is a Dunkirk Little Ship and she will be sailing every 45 minutes during the afternoon.

The event officially opens at 11.30 when you will be able to browse a great selection of stalls and entertain the children with the games on offer. There will be delicious freshly cooked food from the BBQ and a bar serving drinks . Hot and cold refreshments, cakes and ice creams are also available.

From 12.00 the Chiswick Canoe Club will be running canoe taster sessions. Try your skills out on the water.

Why not encourage the children to try river dipping? Just bring your wellies and wear appropriate clothes then get stuck in. Meet Thames Explorer Trust at 1.30 at the Pier House.

Do come along to relax and soak up the atmosphere by the river whilst listening to ever popular band Shenanigans.

Amanda’s Action Club is joining them again this year and Amanda will be doing 3 interactive fun sessions with the children at 12.00, 1.00 and 2.30. Also guaranteed to keep the children happy is face painter Cheeky Chops.

As Sunday 19 is Wimbledon Finals Day they will be showing the matches on a big screen. So there is no need to miss out on any of the action in SW19 or W4.
