If there is a mother you know who deserves a treat then maybe the Chiswick Pier Trust has a solution for you.
It has organised a cruise down the Thames for Mothering Sunday (27 March) and tickets remain available for the event.
The boat departs from Chiswick Pier at 3.30pm and then sails down the River Thames while a full afternoon tea is served at tables.
There will be a commentary pointing out the interesting sights as you sail along the river.
You are advised to book your tickets early as this is a very popular event which sells out fast.
Ticket prices cost £25 for adults £25 and £16 for children under 10
and can be booked online at www.chiswickpier.org.uk or by calling 07831 420400.
The Chiswick Pier Trust runs the Chiswick Pier and Pier House. In this role it manages the commercial and residential moorings at the Pier, as well as venue and conference hire at Pier House.
The trust works to engage people with the River Thames. It provides access to the Thames and support major river events, as well as organising events of its own. It also hosts an annual season of 'Talks by the Thames' which highlight the history, wildlife and ecology of the Thames.
