Fun filled activities enjoyed by all ages
The sun shone brightly on Chiswick Pier Trust's (CPT) Party on the Pier on Sunday July 19th.
The fair weather enticed families to go river dipping with the Thames Explorer Trust (TET), and get out on the water either with the Chiswick Pier Canoe Club or on one of the free river trips sponsored by Fullers.

Back on dry land, hundreds crowded down to Corney Reach to find out more about the river with stalls manned by TET, and The River Thames Society. Chiswick Pier's Royal National Lifeboat Institution had information on their work and the resident Sea Cadets ran stalls with activities for children.
There was a health and fitness theme this year, and visitors were able to try out Alexander Technique with Elizabeth Dodgson, or enjoy a free spine and postural check with Optimal Spine or find out more about activities with the New Chiswick Pool. There was plenty of fun for the children with face painting by Cheeky Chops, toy stalls and games and singing and dancing sessions with Amanda's Action Kids.
For parents, there were fashion and jewellery stalls and the band Shenanigans got people up on their feet and the barbecue and Fullers bar sustained everyone throughout.
Don't miss the CPT's next party celebrating the Great River Race on Sunday September 12th!
