Starting next month with a talk on the Thames by Jon Cotton
Tuesday February 18th, 7.30pm . One Thames or Two? A talk on the archaeologies of London River by Jon Cotton, archaeological consultant and former Museum of London curator. The talk will cover the many uses of the river and show how it is a product of over 2,000 years of engineering, which has shaped both the Thames and its surrounding landscape. Misty morning by Andy Hawkins Tuesday March 18th, 7.30pm From Hills to High-Water; The Thames as a Wildlife Corridor. A talk by Brenna Boyle, a zoologist, experienced wildlife guide, and creator of Wild Capital. Sunday March 30th Mothering Day Cruise. Saturday April 5th , 2pm, Boat Race Blue Badge Walk, meeting at Ravenscourt Park tube and walking to Chiswick Pier. Sunday April 6th , 6pm, the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race.
