Fun Day On July 28 At Chiswick Pier

Lots of free activity on and off the river

The Party On the Pier is the latest event organised by the Chiswick Pier Trust.

The action starts at 11.30 when the first free boat trip sails . “Princess Freda” is a Dunkirk Little Ship and she will be sailing every 45 minutes . The boat trips have very kindly been sponsored by Fullers.

They will be officially opening Party on the Pier at 12.00 with a Fancy Dress Parade for dogs so start organising your canine friends’ outfit! Owners welcome to join in the fun and dress up too. Pre- registration is essential as numbers are limited. E-mail gillexton@hotmail.com with your name, dogs name and telephone number and you will be sent a confirmation of your registration. Chiswick Pets are sponsoring this event and there will be prizes and rosettes for the first three winners. The competition will be judged by The Dog Coach, Vicky Carne.

There will be a selection of stalls, time for a bite to eat from the BBQ, and a drink from the Fuller's bar. Hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice creams are also available. Relax and soak up the atmosphere by the river whilst listening to the ever popular band Shenanigans.

Back on the river from 1.00 the Canoe Club are offering free canoe taster sessions. Meet Thames Explorer Trust at 1.00 at the Pier House and don’t forget to bring your wellies.

Amanda’s Action Club will be doing 3 interactive sessions with the children at 12.45, 2.00 and 3.00. Also to keep the children happy there is face painting by the Riverside Club.
