800 people enjoyed a free boat trip on the Princess Freda, a Dunkirk little ship, thanks to organisers, the Chiswick Pier Trust and the trip sponsors, Fullers on Sunday 31st July.

Others kept cool on a splendidly sunny day by splashing about with the resident canoe club or river dipping with the Thames Explorer Trust.

Stalls, entertainers and refreshments kept the whole family happy for the afternoon at Chiswick Pier.
