Cross the Masters Par-3 Tournament with a star studded garden party and you will be on the right track for the Leuka Mini Masters golf tournament.

Held at Dukes Meadows Golf Club on Monday 14th July, the charity tournament was organised by Dougray Scott in aid of Leuka, a pioneering leukemia charity based at Hammersmith Hospital.

Dukes Meadow's Scott Margrett said, "The day was unique in its vision and clear in its goal... to present an atmosphere of a relaxed garden party and to welcome new and experienced players alike. The course conditions were described as 'superb' 'best I've seen' 'inspiring' and the food and clubhouse service was applauded as so many have found in recent years."

Dougray Scott said of Dukes Meadows Golf Club 'this is a real hidden gem, though I have been coming here for years. It is a wonderful venue'.

Scott enlisted the help of a number of celebrity team captains including James Nesbitt, Jodie Kidd and Phil Gleinster to help raise as much money as possible on the day.

Leuka was founded in 1982 by leukemia patient Lester Cazin, funds raised will go towards paying for clinical trails to study new therapies, the purchase of specialist equipment, modernisation of clinical facilities and salaries of clinical and research staff.

Recently on our screens in Desperate Housewives as the British love interest of Teri Hatcher’s character Susan, Dougray Scott lives in Chiswick with his actress wife Clare Forlani.
