Cat turns from a tiger into Sylvester to raise over £2,800

Chiswick student Cat has been persuaded by her Cambridge University friends to spend all day every dressed as a cat if they sponsored her fundraising drive for Haiti.

The idea was that if she could raise £100 on the first day, she would wear it for a second day, if she raised £120 on the next day, she will wear it for a third, and so on.

So far she's raised more than £2,800 and has had to change out of her original tiger suit and into a Sylvester the Cat one.

On her Facebook page, which currently has over 300 members her friends have written, "Please help us make her look really stupid and keep her feeling embarrassed for as long as possible!!

"She promises to wear tiger suit to lectures, supervisions, cycling, umpiring sport etc. Only taking it off to shower, sleep, and when in the gym."

Cat is currently studying Management Studies at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, having already studied Philosophy for three years.
