Donations to be made for newsletter subscriptions during Bedford Park Festival
ChiswickW4.com are making a donation to this year's festival charities for every local resident that subscribes to our weekly e-mail newsletter during the event.
The money raised from this year’s festival will go to Chiswick's Micro Loan Foundation, which makes loans to the poor in Malawi; the Upper Room project supporting the homeless in Shepherd's Bush; and the repainting of St Michael & All Angels Church and its new trust fund. Lynette Royle from the MicroLoan Foundation said: "This is a brilliant idea to encourage many more people to enjoy the splendid sense of community and local benefits of the ChiswickW4.com newsletter. I personally really look forward to it every week, in fact it was responsible for my getting involved with the MicroLoan Foundation in the first place." There are already close to 5,000 people registered for what is Europe's largest local e-mail newsletter. It provides a weekly digest of news that has appeared on the site plus a comprehensive guide to local events. There is also a competition to win a Scorsese DVD collection which you can win by answering a simple question and referring a new subscriber to the ChiswickW4.com newsletter.
If you subscribe, your details are never passed on to third parties and you can stop receiving the newsletter anytime you want. Full name and post code are required. If you are registered but not receiving the newsletter contact us and we will add you to the list. A donation of 50p will be made for every Chiswick resident who subscribes during the Festival which runs from June 12th - June 27th. If you want to subscribe beforehand just let us know that you would like a donation to be made.
For Brentford, Acton, Hammersmith and Ealing residents, if you subscribe to the newsletter on your 'home' site and contact us to say that you did so because of this promotion and a donation will be made on your behalf.
