Ballet4Life is sponsoring two Ukrainian Dance Artists
Returning once again to the theatre at Watermans on 29 May at 2pm, are the participants of Dance and Movement classes from Ballet4Life and Move into Wellbeing® charity. Community dance organisation Ballet4Life, established in 2004 and Move into Wellbeing® charity established in 2016, are delighted to finally get back on stage and share their creativity and efforts with the community. Professional performers including Juliana Lisk will also be donating their guest appearances to help raise funds and awareness. To add to the event will be a special appearance by friends from the Ukrainian Refugee Support Group led by Ballet4Life teacher, Ukrainian Alina Luts. She has been providing Folk Dance classes at Prosperity Café in Twickenham, along with other classes and activities. Ballet4Life is currently sponsoring two Ukrainian Dance Artists on the programme in Chiswick with more to be joining their classes. They say it will be a very moving moment when the entire group end the showcase with a specially choreographed Ukrainian Folk Dance. Funds raised will go directly to the extensive Dance & Movement programme, that MiW provides to the community, which offers over ten weekly in-person classes. Since 2020 MiW has extended its reach with livestreamed classes. There will also be a retiring collection for Ukrainian Humanitarian Aid. You can book your tickets online . Ballet4Life is also preparing to perform on the Bandstand Programme at Green Days at the Bedford Park Festival again on Saturday 11 June at 1.30pm. They will be highlighting Ukrainian Folk Dances along with Classical Character Dance class excerpts, danced to lively music, and with colourful costumes. A further highlight of the season is a Classical Ballet Masterclass to be given by Internationally Acclaimed Ballet Dancer/ Master Teacher Yosvani Ramos. Ballet4life is hosting this at the Arts Educational School on Sunday 19 June at 11am. Booking will open soon, places will be limited, and places will also be available for those wishing to participate by observing the Masterclass.
