Two Chiswick Artists Exhibit in China

Liz Butler and Francis Bowyer feature in the Qingdao International Watercolour Biennial

Two local artists have had their work selected for a prestigious exhibition of watercolours opening in Chiswick later this month.

Liz Butler RWS and Francis Bowyer have been chosen to show watercolours in Qingdao International Watercolour Biennial, Qingdao Art Museum, China. The works were also purchased for their permanent collection.

The exhibition started in December 2016 and is still on show until April 2017.

Francis Bowyer said, “The Chinese really hold British Watercolour in high regard, so it is a great honour for us both to be asked to participate.”

The two artists will be showing these works below at Bankside Gallery the home of the Royal Watercolour Society. The exhibition titled ‘Water, Paper, Paint' starts 24th March - 22nd April. The Private View is 23rd March 6-8pm in London.
