CHISWICK ELECTRICS MOVING NOT CLOSING

Fears that a small, local shop might close prove unfounded

A closing down sale at Chiswick Electrics provoked much fear that this small, independent business was closing. High rents have caused many local businesses to close but fortunately in this case, Chiswick Electrics is relocating, not closing.

So there will be no new coffee shop, just a shop selling coffee makers in new premises.

After closing on Saturday evening, fridges, irons, etc., will be moved up Chiswick High Road to number 315, next to the Job Centre. The new shop hopes to open for business on Tuesday morning.

  

Mystery surrounds the business that will occupy the old site. Speculation has included the possibility of Foxtons needing to increase its office space and ASK upping its capacity. Watch this (that?) space.
