A fancy dress competition to mark the Queen's 90th birthday
Chiswick's popular dog show returns on the 25 September, 11am – 4.15pm, and this year will be a 'right royal affair' with a fancy dress competition to mark the Queen's 90th birthday. The 12th Chiswick House Dog Show will be held as usual on the Cricket Pitch This annual event is run by local volunteers for the enjoyment of the entire community – it is free to attend and just £3 to enter your dog into a class. Penny the dog who won Best In Show 2015 With classes ranging from Naughtiest Dog to Prettiest Bitch and from My Dog’s Got Talent to Best Veteran, every dog is welcome – big, small, pedigree, mutt, young and old – it’s a celebration of the canine world. This year's show will be celebrating the Queen’s 90th Birthday. But there are lots of other events, including the egg and spoon race or even a photographic competition. There will be a wide variety of stalls, a BBQ and bar, delicious Italian ice creams, aromatic coffee, cocktails, fresh cooked churros and a further 60 stalls providing a cornucopia of homeware, hi-tech gadgets, cards, treats and every form of dog accessory imaginable!
