97 per cent of pupils achieving top levels in reading and maths

Grove Park Primary School, Nightingale Close is the top performing school in Hounslow Borough according to the latest figures.
Tables have been published based on Overall performance at end of key stage 2 in 2018.
The school has managed to get 97% of its pupils achieving the government’s expected standard – this is achieving a scaled score of 100 or more in their reading and maths tests, and their teacher assessing them as ‘working at the expected standard’ or better in writing.
The school also had nearly a third of pupils achieving the higher standard – getting 110 or more in their reading and maths tests, and their teacher assessing them as ‘working at a greater depth within the expected standard’ in writing.
The school also had ‘outstanding scores’ in reading with a score of 5.6 and writing with 4.6. It scored above average in maths – 2.8.
Strand-on-the-Green school was the second ranked school in Chiswick by this measure with 87% of children meeting the expected standard.
Belmont School had the highest percentage of children achieving at a higher standard with 40% reaching this level.
None of the schools in Chiswick were rated as being below average for reading, writing and maths.
