The Will to Win Foundation, the charitable arm of the Will to Win sports centre in Chiswick House Grounds has helped provide new surfacing for the ball park at William Hogarth Primary School.

Working with The Friends of The William Hogarth School they helped raise money for the much needed project and donated £4000 in total, making the renovations possible.

Avril Stockley, Headteacher of William Hogarth School said, “We are delighted that Will to Win selected our school to support in such a practical way. Rejuvenating the surfacing in our ball park means that we can really use the space to full advantage, supporting our pupils in developing and sustaining healthy and active lifestyles. Raising the funds for the work to go ahead took great community spirit and our thanks in particular go to Steve from Will to Win for his efforts, as well as to our amazing PTA for all their hard work. The children are already enjoying regular tennis and cricket coaching in the ball park, and we hope to extend this further. The teachers are even talking about putting together a teacher netball team!”

The new ball park opened on 11 May and has already made a big difference for the school children.
