Pam Bolton recognised for her work at Grove Park Primary
A Grove Park Primary team member was amongst those recognised by Hounslow Council in its Teachers Long Service Awards.
Pam Bolton, who is an SMSA (lunchtime supervisor) was one of eleven recognised for dedication to their careers at a ceremony last week.
More than 330 years of work with children and young people was recognised by Hounslow Council.
The awards recognise those teachers who have dedicated more than 30 years to their career, with at least 15 years teaching in the borough.
Eleven school staff were nominated for the awards from across the borough, whose roles include teachers, teaching assistants and welfare support staff.
Cllr Tom Bruce, Cabinet member for education and children’s services at the council, said: “As a teacher myself, it is incredibly inspiring to see such a wealth of experience being recognised.
“These people have dedicated their lives to helping thousands of children and young people reach their potential, and I’m delighted to be able to offer my thanks for their work.
“The council recognises the value school staff play in transforming the lives of our young people, and we want every child in Hounslow to have the opportunity to access outstanding education.
“We are determined that our children and young people are supported and have the best teachers, schools staff and learning environments so that they can achieve the highest outcomes.”
The school staff were recognised at a ceremony at the Civic Centre, attended by Cllr Bruce and the Mayor Cllr Corinna Smart.
