Chiswick resident Sir Matthew Pinsent will give a talk at an RNLI event to raise funds for the Chiswick lifeboat.

It is taking place on 15 October at 7.30pm at the George IV pub, 185 Chiswick High Road.

Over the course of his career, Sir Matthew has won 10 World Championship rowing gold medals and four consecutive Olympic golds (1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004), three with Sir Steve Redgrave.

Since his retirement he has worked as a sports broadcaster with the BBC for the Winter and Summer Olympics.

All proceeds to the RNLI. Drinks and pub food/snacks available before and after the talk.
Tickets cost £10 via EventBrite (+booking fee) or £12 on the door.
