Following the diagnosis of a life-threatening illness, Kiko Matthews decided to challenge herself by attempting to row the Atlantic. In March 2018, she became the fastest female to row the Atlantic, solo and unsupported, some 4819 km from Gran Canaria to Port St. Charles, Barbados in just over 49 days.

Kiko will talk about her experiences at a charity fundraising event in aid of Chiswick RNLI. On Tuesday, 12 February from 7.30-8.30pm at the George IV pub on Chiswick High Road.
