Following their refusal of planning permission, the Community Housing Association has made an appeal to Secretary of State to allow them to develop the site at 2 Bollo Lane.

The Housing Association want to build a six storey building comprising 1050sqm of office space on the ground and first floors and 56 residential units - 50% of which will be affordable housing - and a roof garden. The main concern about the project was the parking provision with only eight disabled parking spaces, one car club space and an integral cycle storage included in the plans.

Following the appeal against Ealing Council's decision not to grant planning permission, the development will now be dealt with by the Public Inquiry Procedure. Residents will be advised of the date this inquiry will be held.

The site has been the subject of various planning proposals, largely by developers, since the 1990s and has passed from company to company. No proposal has ever been wholly approved by the Council.
