Owner believes that Midge may have fallen down a hole
The owner of a dog who was found in Chiswick House gardens after being missing for two days has thanked all those who helped in the search. It's thought that Midge may have fallen into a hole when she ran off while being walked. Midge went missing recently around 9.30 a.m. while being walked in Chiswick House gardens along with her brother Mungo. Midge and Mungo Owner Serena searched the grounds to no avail and then raised the alarm, later posting up posters of her missing pet. The warden and staff also tried to help out, as did fellow dogwalkers. About 48 hours later a dog walker noticed Midge near one of the gates and raised the alarm. The dog was covered in mud and somewhat dehydrated but otherwise well. Serena has posted Thank You posters to those who helped out and supported her while Midge was missing. "She was covered in mud and dehydrated but otherwise none the worse for wear. I think she was stuck in a hole." The family are thrilled to have her back. September 15, 2016 |
