Janet McNamara gives presentation on the influence of the River Brent

At 7.30pm, on Monday 15 April 2013, at the Chiswick Memorial Club, Bourne Place, London W4, the Brentford & Chiswick Local History Society present an illustrated talk by Janet McNamara, the Society's Vice-Chairman and a Hounslow Heritage Guide.

In this talk, she will discuss the the River Brent, the Canal and the Dock and discover their place in the history of Brentford and the surrounding area.
