Suspended in Rainbows part of tie-up with West London Queer Project

The George IV in Chiswick has joined forces with West London Queer Project (WLQP) and Siren Craft Brew to raise money for Mermaids Charity, one of the UK’s leading LGBTQ+ charities.
50p from every sale of Suspended in Rainbows – a 4% ABV pale ale brewed by Siren – will be donated to the charity while stocks last at the George IV. The beer will also be available at the Drayton Court in Ealing.
The pubs have been working closely with WLQP which is committed to offering safe spaces for members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community.
The George IV is hosting a number of WLQP events – including Chiswick’s own Pride festival on Sunday 3 July. In the morning, the pub will hold an LGBTQ+ parents and children brunch – where parents will get the chance to mingle over brunch while their children are safely entertained with games and crafts. In the afternoon, the pub’s Boston Room will host a flower arranging workshop with Dominic Hughes of Pot Pourri Flowers in Kew.
Other WLQP events are also taking place at The George IV, such as Britney Brunch on Saturday 9 July.
Fuller’s recently signed the British Beer and Pub Association’s (BPPA) diversity and inclusion charter – as part of its commitment to being #OpenToAll. The pledge signifies Fuller’s intentions on ensuring its sites are inclusive spaces and taking a zero-tolerance approach to harassment or discrimination of any kind.
