The Art Emporium to open at Dukes Meadows

Chiswick’s latest exciting arts venture seeks interested artists

The owner of Diesel House Studios, Elizabeth Rollins-Scott (pictured left) will be, in collaboration with the Dukes Meadow Community Association , launching a brand new arts project in Chiswick in October.

On the 2nd week of each month starting form Sunday 12th October 2003, Diesel House Studios start running the ‘The Art Emporium’, which will be held in Dukes Meadows Community Centre. The main idea is that the visiting public will be able to buy direct from the artist, which often will save the buyer up to 30%, when compared to buying from galleries. The Art Emporium will be showing works of around 29 artists and craftspeople, who will be showing work in a diversity of mediums, which will include painting, jewellery, ceramics, etchings, printmaking and sculpture. Entrance to the venue is free and visitors will also be able to enjoy cake and cappuccino at the pastry bar.

Prior to the opening event, The Art Emporium still have a few more spaces left to fill, so if there are any artists that are looking for an opportunity to sell their work, please contact Elizabeth Rollins-Scott in the first instance on 020 8569 8780 or email her on info@theartemporium.org.
