Four engines and 20 firefighters take an hour to get fire under control
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a blaze in a flat on Bolton Road on Wednesday afternoon. According to a Brigade spokesperson, they received a call at 2.30pm. It took fire crews from four stations including Chiswick just under an hour to get the fire under control. Although the fire managed to destroy the entire ground floor of the property, no one was injured. The cause of the blaze is under investigation. February 27, 2009
