Six fire engines called to Chiswick Lane to deal with blaze

Chiswick Lane was closed this Saturday morning (27 April) after a fire broke out at the Brewers Decorator Centre.

Six fire engines attended the blaze with the Fire Brigade say has destroyed 40% of the property.

Firefighters remained on the scene through to the middle of the afternoon. It is believed that concerns about potentially high flammable materials on the site has required extra caution.

Bus route 190 was diverted due to the emergency services having to block Chiswick Lane but the road has now reopened.

There are no reports of anyone being injured.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
