The blaze is believed to have started around 4.14pm. Sutton Lane North was closed to allow fire fighters access to the incident. The fire was contained to the bedsit and put out by 4.55pm. 25 fire fighters and four fire engines attended including one which made the relatively short journey from Chiswick fire station as well as from Acton, Southall and Hammersmith.
