Beauty Salon In Chiswick Remains Closed Following Fire

Thirteen people escaped when blaze took hold in basement at Pampering Palace

Pampering Palace beauty and hair salon remains closed due to a fire on Monday.

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to the fire at the hair and beauty salon.

A small part of the basement was damaged by the blaze. Thirteen people left the property before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 1508 and the fire was under control by 1647. Fire crews from Chiswick, Hammersmith and Kensington fire stations were at the scene.

The fire was accidental and is believed to have been caused by a fault in the power supply to a steam room in the basement.

The management said on their Facebook page on Tuesday that they would be closed for a minimum of 5 days."

There is a contact number for calls and they will accommodate Hair/beauty treatments at another salon.
