Woman hospitalised after blaze breaks out in kitchen
A woman has been admitted to hospital after a fire broke out in a house in Bollo Lane, Chiswick this Thursday morning (27 October). Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to the blaze which gutted the kitchen of the property. The woman had left the property before the arrival of the Fire Brigade and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service. The Brigade was called at 7.39am and the fire was under control just over an hour later. Bollo Lane was closed to traffic during this period. Fire crews from Chiswick, Acton, Ealing and Hammersmith fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation. October 27, 2016
