Appeal issued after incident which was witnessed by several passengers
British Transport Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to following an unprovoked attack on board a
District Line Tube between Stamford Brook and Turnham Green.

The incident happened on October 19 between 8.35pm and 8.45pm.
A man boarded the train at Stamford Brook. He
sat down and moments later stood up and approached the victim, who was
standing opposite him by the train doors.
The man violently punched the victim, a 45-year-old man.
Investigating officer PC Nick Dipper said: “This was an unprovoked assault
witnessed by other passengers, who went to the victim’s aid while the
offender calmly returned to his seat. The offender left the Tube train
at Turnham Green station.
“I am keen to speak to the man in the CCTV images as I believe he has
vital information that would help with the investigation. Everyone has
the right to travel on the railway network without fear or intimidation.
