Police Warn Of Bogus Water Board Officials

After a number of residents fall victim to artifice burglaries

There have been a number of burglaries in Chiswick and other parts of Hounslow Borough involving a caller posing as a water board official needing access to victims' properties.

Police warn residents "If you are not expecting a visit from a utilities company who want to have access, check their identity carefully.

"If in doubt, ring their company to confirm who they are and what they are doing."
